The past two years have been a bit of a dry season with my writing. I simply found it difficult to write. We all go through ups and downs in our christian walk, and it is important to remember to keep seeking God in the down times. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Even when we don’t feel like reading the bible or feel that our prayers aren’t being heard, we must choose to continue seeking Him because He is always faithful! Don’t give up in the dry season; God will renew your strength in time. One of my favorite scriptures, and the one this blog was based on is Isaiah 40:31 which says, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.” Keep waiting, keep seeking, and keep trusting Him in the dry season.
